New RFP: Hydro-Québec Solar RFP seeking 300 MW

Highlights

Hydro-Québec is kicking off it’s long term Solar Energy Action plan with a Solar RFP seeking 300 MW.

Key details:

  • 0.7 MW – 25 MW projects
  • Interconnected to Hydro-Québec’s transmission network
  • Proposals due March 31, 2026

This is the first RFP that will be used to learn from and implement larger RFPs in the future to ultimately meet it’s long term goal of 3,000 MW of solar energy by 2035.
